We are working on a play that will be a process of reality creation. Collaboratively we can produce a play reflective of what we passionately want to bring in for the human race.


There was theatre with powerful influence in the 60's-70's. What we need to connect people with a vision in our days, is a presentation with poignant impact. Not the same concepts as back then, rather what we are holding in our common thought. We are no longer isolated individuals, we are CONNECTED.



Characters, Synopsis


SYNOPSIS
This is the beginning of the new "Summer of Love".  The characters compare the first one with the current wave.  Many of those who felt the energy of the 60's did not really understand it.  They explored the consciousness at that time, and went with the flow of "everything is cool", pushing all boundaries, exploring free love, and breaking out of enforced patterns.  Now we have the knowledge and skills to create reality in a more cognizant way.

The main character, John, separates himself from his father's world, and becomes a catalyst in bringing all of the other characters together to create a new reality, collectively.



CHARACTERS
JOHN:  Young man in twenties, in tune with the times and planet, turns away from Father's life, can organize and integrate changes. LOVES IT
PETER:  CEO of large oil company, divorced, friends in high places.  LOVES JOHN                                       

HAROLD:  Widower and well recognized scientist, open minded to spirituality.  GROUNDS IT
ROWAN:  Older midwife, independent crone and wisewoman.  Believes in reincarnation and bonds between people through generations. Birthing a new reality, facilitator.  BE IN IT
HEATHER:  Rowan's daughter who made her way into a city lifestyle in corporate advertising.  Intuitive, loving and sensing. LOVES LOVE
CLARK:  Former "back to the land hippy".  With Will, add ethics and grounding to the Earth.  ENJOYS IT
WILL:  Young man current in many new theories, Clark's nephew, studying permaculture and sustainability.  BUILDS IT
KATE:  Young woman wanting to be a part of constructive change and writer. Writing new reality.  USES IT
PATRICIA:  Older woman and musician, Seminary graduate with background in religion, and now considers herself to be spiritual.  EXISTS FOR IT
Musicians/bards 1 & 2 (names of actual musicians).  BE, EXPRESS, & CREATE IT
